Road To Reality
with Dr KP Yohannan
Mondays 9.30am
Gospel for Asia trains and sends national missionaries to some of the most un-reached areas on the planet. During 2008 more than 16,000 Gospel for Asia native missionaries have been effectively preaching the gospel in 10 Asian nations and 7000 students studied in 67 Bible colleges. Because of their faithfulness our missionaries are enduring the suffering and persecution it takes to reach people with Christ's love. In spite of such circumstance they have been able to share the love of Jesus Christ with literally millions of men, women and children. Across Asia today, believers joyfully worship the Lord in places where no church existed before.
About the ministry team
Dr KP Yohannan is the founder and president of Gospel for Asia. Born in a remote village of South India, he began serving the Lord in 1966, at the age of 16 years old when he volunteered to serve in North India with Operation Mobilisation.
In 1974 KP began attending Criswell Bible College in Dallas, Texas, and later pastored a local church. However, he was unable to forget the millions still lost without Christ in his homeland of India, and knew God was calling him to reach his own people. KP resigned his pastorate and he and his wife, Gisela, organised what is now Gospel for Asia in 1979.
In addition to travelling and speaking in the West, KP spends half of his time in Asia, consulting with Christian leaders and speaking at missionary gatherings. He's also heard throughout India by millions of people on a daily Christian radio programme and has authored over 200 books published in India and seven in the West. He lives near Dallas with his wife Gisela.
