Muyiwa
Muyiwa is a singer/songwriter/broadcaster. In the 50-year history of British Gospel Music, Muyiwa & Riversongz are the first Praise and Worship group to come out of the African community to be recognised across the board.
Amidst all the instability he experienced as a young child, he found the church to be his salvation. At the age of 13 he decided to get more involved with music.
A postgraduate study in Business Studies was followed by a three-year degree course in Music at Westminster University.
After graduating Muyiwa went on to do a number of jobs, including advertising voice-over work for the Daily Telegraph and Western Union to name a but a few. Muyiwa also ventured into session singing and international promotions at Sony Music where he has worked with artist like Mariah Carey, Aerosmith and Ricky Martin.
Currently Muyiwa hosts Sounds Of Africa on Lufthansa Airlines, broadcasting to 56 million passengers last year.
