Victoria Laurence
Victoria Laurence is a presenter and News Editor for Premier Christian Radio and Premier.TV. Before joining Premier, Vicky was a local news reporter.
Vicky began her journalism career in 1998 at The Watford Observer where she worked as a district reporter for both its broadsheet and tabloid papers and as a features editor for its associated magazine. However, not content with seeing her name in print, Vicky decided to make the move to broadcast journalism.
Vicky started at Premier Media Group in 2001. She began as a broadcast journalist before transforming the newsroom and progressing quickly to News Editor in 2004. Vicky now manages a team of three journalists and is responsible for Premier’s news coverage 12-hours a day, five days a week.
Vicky was educated near Bath and completed an intensive journalism course at The Editorial Centre.
During her time at Premier, Vicky has met and interviewed a variety of people including the Archbishop of Canterbury and the star of the Amazing Grace film Ioan Gruffudd, gone to Indonesia to interview persecuted Christians, and also travelled to Sri Lanka where she interviewed those who lost their livelihoods in the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.
Now living in north London, Vicky enjoys ballroom dancing, cooking, going to the gym and buying clothes!
