RPM Live: Give My All
Abundant Life Music/ £12.99/ 8204602
Reviewed by Steve Warner, Youth and Children’s minister, Christchurch, Harpenden.
RPM is a fast and furious worship band based at Abundant Life Ministries church, Bradford (alm.org.uk). This rocking worship album Give my all is their third and was recorded live at the Rocknations youth conference in August 2007.
Comprised of an eleven track audio CD and four track DVD (together with multi-angle features) this is a great resource for a rocking youth group who loves new and passionate worship.
The DVD opens with a full on rock worship song ‘Now or Never’ leading into the melodic ‘Give my all’ and then into the thumping ‘New Creation’. The songs are well constructed, with lyrics full of passion for today’s generation. The call is to love Jesus more and reach out to those around us who are lost.
Visually, the worship event is extremely well shot, with all the camera angles and effects of a secular rock event. You get a real feel for the atmosphere of the Rocknation youth conference and watching the DVD would encourage most youth groups to attend next year. If you like loud, live, rock worship…you’ll love it!
