THURS 12 DEC – MAKING THE BIBLE RELEVANT TO CHILDREN
+ SUSANNAH HODSON is a Christian actress who will share what it’s like having faith in the world of performance. She recently rewrote some classic Bible stories into a format which would make them more accessible to children, so will share about the importance of bringing scripture to life.
FRI 13 DEC – ABORTION CLINIC WORKER HELPS PEOPLE LEAVE THE INDUSTRY
+ ABBY JOHNSON was working at a Planned Parenthood clinic, which resulted in death threats on her and her family by the pro-life movement. She had had two abortions in the past herself, but although working in the clinic she had never participated in helping with the procedure. One day she was called upon to assist and the experience shocked her. Part of her role had been to encourage women to have abortions in order to fund the clinic, but having watched the reality of an abortion vacuum on an ultrasound she eventually resigned. She’ll share how she started going to church and now helps other leave the industry.
